The I-CARE App

In addition, the I-CARE App provides mobile access to a range of learning materials and helpful information designed to help people working in the sector to be more informed and to learn ‘wherever and whenever’. You can download the app using the QR-Codes on the right.

Once you have completed the activities in the app, you will be rewarded with the I-CARE badge. (A digital badge is an indicator of accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online.) The badge will be automatically sent to your e-mail address.

The I-CARE Competence Spider

This tool is designed to help you reflect and visualise your understanding and awareness of the topics covered by the I-CARE modules.

We have provided you with statements that you can use to do a self-assessment on various intercultural issues and see where you stand.

For this purpose, we ask you to read through the statements and rate the extent to which you agree with them on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = strongly disagree and 5 = strongly agree). The default setting of the answers on the scale is 3. Please drag the slider accordingly each time to enter your answer from 1 to 5 (no decimals possible).

You will then be given a visual representation of your statements in the form of a spider web. You can save this. If you check the statements again at a later time, you can compare your two spider webs and see in how far you have made progress.
